prevented interventions. High risk aggressive fourth grade
children are randomly assigned to a Coping Power intervention
(cognitive-behavioral child and parent intervention) for 18
months or to a control condition. Half of the Coping Power
children and half of the control children will be in classrooms
receiving universal intervention (teacher inservice, parent
meetings, resulting in a 2x2 experimental design.
