Interview On Emotional Experience (Gr.3+)

Scored Dataset Contents

Source: The Interview on Emotional Experiences (IEE) was developed by Mark Greenberg. It had been administered as part of the child interview conducted in the summers of data collection for Fast Track Project. To introduce the child to the IEE, the child interviewer tells the child that they are going to talk about different kinds of feelings children have. The child interviewer asks the child about 4 different emotions: happy, sad, angry, and worried. Since the children being interviewed may be less familiar with the word "worried" than the other words representing feelings, the interviewer may substitute the word "nervous" when asking about the feeling of worry.
